What it does to a run
- There are no wild encounters — every catch is a Shadow Pokémon snagged from a trainer.
- Every battle is a double battle, so wipes come two at a time.
- Shadow Pokémon can't gain EXP until purified — your team is always behind the curve.
- Missing a snag usually means that species is gone for the run; most rulesets treat a fled snag as a lost encounter.
Where runs die
- Miror B.
- Dakim's Entei fight
- Evice's Slaking
