  • No held items and no abilities, and effort levels replace EVs. Most Nuzlocke rules don't map cleanly.
  • Catching is a real-time action minigame; you can catch without battling at all.
  • Agile and Strong style change move order and power, so the speed check isn't fixed.
  • Noble fights are dodge-and-throw rather than battles — decide whether they can kill anything.
