  • Every trainer is rebuilt with competitive sets, held items and real AI flags.
  • Big drawback moves become true recoil — Hyper Beam, Outrage and friends deal half of what they hit back to you.
  • House rules are effectively part of the design: set mode, no items in battle, level caps to the next gym.
  • Trainers carry type-resist and pinch berries by the fistful. Plan the second hit, not the first.
