What it does to a run
Full notes →- No gyms — island trials plus four grand trials against the kahunas.
- SOS battles let wild Pokémon call allies mid-fight. Decide up front whether a called ally counts as your encounter.
- Totem Pokémon get an aura stat boost and a partner, so they fight like a double battle you're losing.
- Z-Moves are one nuke per battle, on both sides.
